About this Camp:
Learn how to animate 3-D characters using Blender! Blender, is a powerful free and open source 3D computer modeling and animation program that allows users to create and animate models and figures in scenes, compile feature movies and create video games. We will start with the basics and learn how to use and navigate the blender interface. Students will be introduced to 3D Modeling, animation, shading, lighting, and rendering. Using pre-made 3-D Shapes and Characters, we work through the animation process following a step-by-step tutorial. Students will learn about character rigging, and will be working with different tools, such as the shape driver, action editor, and pose library. Please bring a nut-free snack and bottle of water daily |

About Us:
We offer research-proven technology and science summer day camps for
ages 3-14. We believe learning should be fun, innovative,
challenging and hands-on. Computer Explorers has over 200 camps
throughout Minnesota each summer. We offer 30 different classes/camp
in Video Game Design, Programming, Legos, Robotics, Engineering, and
Film Making. We have been offering computer technology camps and
classes in the Twin Cities for over 20 years, and
30 years nationally.
