Join us as we explore, investigate & solve problems while we learn about the building blocks of mechanical engineering and car building. This exciting hands-on engineering class combines LEGO® Education & LEGO® Technic™ materials to explore motorized and self powered cars and vehicles.  Assembling Legos® in completely new and different ways helps children learn to address challenges through novel approaches. Students working in pairs will be completing numerous motorized and non-motorized building projects.

Students learn how to use gears, motors, potential & kinetic energy, and balance to bring amazing vehicles and cars to life.   Through the excitement of building, our summer camp students understand how gears translate motion and how different types of energy can propel vehicles and machines. They will also experience how motors, gears, and pulleys make LEGO vehicles move faster, straighter, and longer.  After each building project, students will customize, share, compete in challenges and enjoy playing with their creations. Explore the many possibilities of LEGO building systems while learning useful construction techniques.
