About this Camp:
| Build vehicles and robots containing a LEGO Robotics Mindstorm Microcomputer, then control your creation with a remote. Experiment with specialty Mindstorm LEGO pieces such as a advanced touch, heat and light sensors, fiber-optic cables, caterpillar treads, and gear trains. Play robotic tag with your classmates, speed through obstacle courses, and disable enemy bots with "laser" signals sent through a fiber-optic cable. You'll learn all about about transmitters, receivers, sensors, robotics and microcomputers. Bring a lunch and snacks. Computer Explorers specializes in project-based technology education courses that reinforce core academic skills and teach invaluable 21st century competencies. |

We offer research-proven technology and science summer day camps for
ages 3-14. We believe learning should be fun, innovative,
challenging and hands-on. Computer Explorers has over 200 camps
throughout Minnesota each summer. We offer 30 different classes/camp
in Video Game Design, Programming, Legos, Robotics, Engineering, and
Film Making. We have been offering computer technology camps and
classes in the Twin Cities for over 20 years, and
30 years nationally.
