Aerospace Engineering: Hot Air Balloons Camp
About this Camp:
| This amazing class is journey into the world of Aerospace engineering, and allows student's minds to travel by air. Students construct a five-foot hot-air balloon from lightweight colored tissue paper, and then use the Pitsco Hot-Air Balloon Tester to send it soaring gracefully in the sky. Students will learn about the aerospace principles of buoyancy, displacement, and behavior of heated gases; forces that make lighter than air flights possible. Projects will be taken home. |

ages 3-14. We believe learning should be fun, innovative,
challenging and hands-on. Computer Explorers has over 200 camps
throughout Minnesota each summer. We offer 30 different classes/camp
in Video Game Design, Programming, Legos, Robotics, Engineering, and
Film Making. We have been offering computer technology camps and
classes in the Twin Cities for over 20 years, and
30 years nationally.
