Junior Engineering: Theme Parks


About this Class:
All new Lego Class. Children have a blast using Lego Technics Engineering Kits to explore the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in team-based environment. Each session we will be exploring new engineering principles such as gears, wheels, levers, and pulleys. Then we will build working theme park rides and machines that reinforces concepts learned. After each building project, students will customize, share, compete in challenges and enjoy experimenting with their creations. Possible models include: Catapult Game, Crazy Floors, Merry-Go-Rounds, Go-Karts, Moving Clowns, Popcorn Cart and more.

We offer research-proven technology and science summer day camps for ages 3-14. We believe learning should be fun, innovative, challenging and hands-on. Computer Explorers has over 200 camps throughout Minnesota each summer. We offer 30 different classes/camp in Video Game Design, Programming, Legos, Robotics, Engineering, and Film Making. We have been offering computer technology camps and classes in the Twin Cities for over 20 years, and 30 years nationally.
